A large-scale commercial transformation at the David Lloyd Club in Chigwell, Essex — 550m² of premium artificial grass installed around their outdoor pool to create a safer, cleaner, and far more inviting member experience.
Essex Artificial Grass was approached by the David Lloyd Chigwell Club to replace the existing natural lawn areas around their outdoor swimming pool. The brief was practical as well as aesthetic: the existing grass was creating muddy footprints that were being tracked from the outdoor space into the indoor pool facility, impacting both member experience and hygiene standards.
Covering approximately 550m², this was a significant commercial undertaking requiring minimal disruption to the club's day-to-day operations. Our team planned and executed the project meticulously, ensuring members and staff were inconvenienced as little as possible throughout the works. The result was a clean, premium-looking outdoor surface that immediately elevated the appearance of the poolside area and eliminated the mud problem entirely.
