This is a case study of an 80m2 artificial lawn we completed in Chelmsford in cold wintery conditions.
1) Patchy and muddy lawn that can rarely be used over the winter months.
2) Excavation complete and ready for geotextile weed membrane to go down to prevent any weed growth at soil level.
3) Membrane down and around 75-100mm of type one being levelled along with concrete fillet around the perimeter to fix the lawn.
4) Two hand screeds of 0-5mm granite dust to ensure a completely flat base ready for the artificial lawn.
5) Fitting of our top-of-the-range 40mm artificial grass.
