Essex Artificial Grass Experts
On this project, we were asked by the client to create a bespoke stripe lawn for their family garden.
We laid our Supreme 35mm product to 550mm wide stripes to create a freshly mowed look on the lawn.
As always, with the ground preparation being paramount, we had to excavate a lot of material out and introduce a lot of new granite material to ensure a durable and permeable sub base.
After soil and clay were removed, a geotextile membrane was laid at the soil level to prevent weed growth and around 100mm of MOT Type One was levelled and compacted. Along with a concrete strip for fixing, we then hand-screeded around 25mm of 0-5mm Granite Dust before fitting the grass.
The finished product was a beautiful, bespoke stripe lawn that the client was absolutely thrilled with. They loved the way the grass looked and felt, and they were especially impressed with the durability and low maintenance of the artificial grass.
