How To Maintain Artificial Grass

Essex Artificial Grass appreciates that having an artificial lawn installed is a bit of an investment, so we would like to offer you some advice on ensuring you maximise the life span of your new grass and guarantee that it remains just as good as it did on the day we installed it.

We recommend that all leaves are promptly removed from the surface of the lawn, as allowing leaves to break down on the top surface can promote moss build up and potential weed growth.

We also advise our customers to brush their lawn with a stiff broom once a month to ensure the pile height remains as upright as possible. We will show you how to do this during the installation process, so you know exactly how to do this.

For those with pets, we suggest you remove any mess that pets may create. Clearing this from the surface and hosing down the area should eliminate the potential of any unwanted odours and stain marks on your artificial lawn.

Don’t have the time to do the maintenance work yourself? If not, we offer a maintenance service that will take care of everything for you.

We will gather and remove leaves, remove any weeds that may have appeared, and re-dress your lawns top surface with kiln sand. We will then use our Stihl Power Brush to ensure the pile is returned to it’s proud self to rejuvenate your lawn back to it’s best.
